Marjorie Carmelia is a widely-experienced marketing professional in advertising and photography. Born in Jamaica, West Indies, Marjorie worked for major advertising agencies and newspapers throughout New York.

Marjorie joined Design Latitudes (then David Curry Design) as Marketing Director in 1996 and manages the New York office. Her responsibilities include strategic and tactical development, growth of new and existing markets for the company's products and services, and the on-going management of clients' projects. She is also responsible for on-line web site promotion and tracking.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Fordham University and studied photography at New York Institute of Photography. Her professional affiliations include Advertising Women of New York, New York Women in Communications, where she has served on the board, and the Publishing and Marketing Association. She travels extensively and is passionate about contemporary multi-cultural fine-art glass and ceramics.
